Bellagio Worlds Largest Glass Sculpture
Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas has a world record. It houses the World's Largest Glass Sculpture in the hotel lobby, the Fiori di Como. Created by world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly, the Fiori di Como has more than 2,000 colorful hand-blown glass flowers hanging from hotel lobby ceiling. The giant chandelier required about 10,000 pounds of steel for the armature and 40,000 pounds of handblown glass. The sculpture's name translates to "Flowers of Como." The Bellagio hotel was modeled after the hotel on Lake Como in Italy.
